Worcester Warriors will sign their former lock James Percival from Harlequins on a two-year contract from the summer.
The 27-year-old began his career in the academy at Worcester, before a move to Northampton in 2005 and then to Harlequins in the summer of 2007.
Head coach Richard Hill said: "James offers huge physicality.
"He will do exactly what we want him to do on the field and adds a real abrasive and hard edge to our pack."
Percival made 57 appearances for Quins in a three-year spell at the club.
"James also brings with him the added benefit of having been here before so he knows the club and area very well and will settle in quickly," added Hill.
"Everyone I have talked to at Worcester who has worked with James in the past has spoken very highly of him and the same can be said of Harlequins who I know will be sad to see him leave."
Wordsley-born Percival added: "I'm coming back to Worcester ready to play and in the best shape to make an impact.
"I'm a better player for my experiences and ready to show the supporters what I can do.
"I've always followed Worcester since I left. Every weekend I played I would look for the Worcester result too and when the club got relegated I was gutted."
