Well, not official yet, but everywhere is reporting it as a done thing.

Good luck to him.

Good stuff, I look forward to seeing what he can do with the squad.
Liked and respected by the players/media, and has bought a great ethos to the team.

Let's just hope the RFU don't get their claws into him now.

Deserved the job after what he achieved in the short space of time he had with them at the six nations, I hope he proves to be good for them so much so that they are up there with Wales challenging the big three down under, better to have two real good NH teams than one.

So Lancaster is "new" England coach but what now.

So (quite deservedly) Stuart Lancaster is the full time England head coach. However with a test series away to SA and then Autumn internationals including SA what do we think will be deemed a succesful first year.

Are we looking for results in SA and the autumn internationals or do you think the public will take good performances in light of the young squad and "new" coaching staff?

Definitely the right choice with no outstanding coaches wanting the role and him doing a great job in the 6N.

I heard him talking on the radio this morning about pride in the shirt etc and building a team to win the next world cup. I'm cynical of the RFU these days... Will they allow him to build instead of buttering up the corporate wankers that flock to Twickenham? Will he survive 3 1/2 years of media scandal which follows the job? How long until the tosspots on rugby club turn on him?

Hope I'm wrong.
