I am currently running an appeal for used and unwanted rugby equiptment for the Caribbean. The game of rugby is growing around the world, and one place inparticular is the Caribbean where 7's is really taking off. I have done alot of work over there to develop the game, epseically at a grassroots level with children in local communitites. These guys and girls have such a passion for the game, but they are held bacvk by a lack of the most basic equiptment such as botos and balls.
When I first went over we were able to ship out 80 kgs worth of kit, including 52 pairs of boots, over 100 playing tops, cones, bibs, balls etc... It made a world of difference out there, espeically as many of the children had been bare footed to begin with and injuries such as cut free on broken glass were common.
Any donation what so ever would make such a difference!
