Jonny Fa'amatuainu fails to win Scarlets contract

A good player no doubt, but too light for second row, where the Scarlets really need quality.

To me, it looks like he's missed out because they need a beefy second-row as Draggs suggests. Probably means they're looking for an overseas player for the role, and considering the lack of hard-nosed second-rows in Wales, that's understandable. Certainly had some skills, and could have fit in nicely at the Scarlets if they had the kinda player to compliment him, but they wouldn't want to take up two NWQ spots in the second row alone.
