Complex topic which as a cisgendered person I do not understand fully. The basic argument is gender is a societal construct completely separate from your sex and who you are as a person has no basis on your genitalia. Therefore you are not a 'male' if you have a X chromosome but exhibit feminine personality. My point of difference is I believe gender and sex are the same thing and personality has got bugger all to do with it.This leads me to believe that technically I would raise my kids gender neutral by their definition 'kids doesn't get told to behave like a girl or a boy' but I would still call them a boy or a girl therefore not meeting everything they want. Its also an argument I'm not particularly interested in having with the transgendered community, we essentially agree on fundamental point who you are has got sod all to do with your wibbly bits. It how we define it that's different.
