With the British Lions tour coming up, I can't wait till we unleash Iarael Folau on the world. He's just the spark Aussie Rugby has been looking for.

International rugby is different than super rugby though. Folau will have less time on the ball and any weaknesses will be exposed.

Some players 'have it', he is one of them. I think Folau can be pretty special if he stays at it. He seems to be enjoying his time in Rugby so far, I seriously hope he stays at it. If he does, next year he will have to work on refining his skills a bit. If he can develop an accurate and respectable boot, and get more accustomed to defence in rugby, he will be a huge threat, provided he continues to stick at it and develop. His raw skills are exceptional in many aspects, and he has those instincts that cannot be trained. I think he can be the best Australian fullback since Chris Latham if he continues. I like Jesse Mogg, but Folau is the type of player who can play on a different level and set a team apart.
Australia just need a decent coach and inside backs reading the same script. (Cooper is too mixed, O'Connor not a standoff, maybe Foley will continue to develop. Genia, Foley, Ioane, O'Connor/Barnes, AAC, O'Connor (he is a quality wing, and there is nothing to say he can't play inside back in some situations), Folau, would be a potent threat.

I get the feeling I'm ganna be dissapointed and he'll go back to league. For a debut season I can't remember too many players making a similar impact - one of the leading players in the competition in things like tries, line breaks, running metres, offloads, try setups etc (while doing it for a middle of the table team). If he does stay on I wouldn't see it much past 2015 either. Like with Sonny Bill Williams (who I think Folau has made more of an impact on his debut season) he could be one of those players that is a star wherever he goes but will never really be recognized as a great in any of the sports.

He gets better with each game. I was skeptical when I first saw him, but now I think he should start for the Wallabies. One of those players who makes very few mistakes and will definitely excel at international level. His kicking is a bit average though, considering he played footy for 2 seasons.

he had his worst game in a while against the rebels last Friday, I was at that game and can honestly say he did quite well although he wasn't very well supported by other backs when he made a break, nor did berrick barnes attempt to utilise him; barnes would simply kick the ball away all the time. hopefully with test players around him, it will help him lift to the standard... although Robbie likes picking other waratahs in his team too, so perhaps not.
