Congrats to the Irish. Their game was nos as beautiful as it was in the 2001-2006 period but the Fighting Spirit is definitively back, and I must admit the Heaslip's try was a beauty. I can't really tell what was wrong with us - for one time, we found the good balance in our game, attacking or kicking at the right moments - thanks to Beauxis who lead the game well, at least during 60 minutes. I guess that the difference was the lack of agressivity, in rucks, in defence... some world class players like Dusautoir or Jauzion were not so great saturday... our captain too... maybe we were too confident before this game, but after all we are arrogants frenchmen. ;) Nigel Owens was... Nigel Owens, with all the toulousains in the team we should have been aware of it and play it more clever. The only thing that upset me, like it was said before, is that the Irish were never penalised for the same mistakes... first penalty at 75m, a shame with Beauxis who seemed more precise than O'Gara that day. The next game vs Italy will be the opportunity for Ireland to get back in the game definitively and compete for the final win against Wales and - I believe - us. Lievremont gets a lots of critics out there but i'm optimistic for the future, after one year of experimentation we almost have our First XV and he's looking good. Hope that Beauxis will be the fly half we're looking for since a few years, on this game, except that miss tackle on BOD and a lower form on the end he was very good. Now this team needs more experience, more vice and maybe we'll compete for the ***le against Wales next year.
