Ireland v Fiji - 23/11/2024 (15.10)

I honestly don't know how anyone could think that's a red but hey ho.
If your an old school rugby fan it isn't, by the letter...

Because he has tucked his arm, so is never making a legal tackle mitigation shouldn't be considered.

Thisnis the frustration with rugby in 2024, noone really knows, and decisions are seemingly random.

Force is a consideration regardless I'm fairly sure and there was none!

'cos he took an unnecessary step and stuck his shoulder into yer mans head.

If he'd stepped forward keeping his body open for a soak tackle or just pushed him over the line it'd be grand.
If he'd braced and not took the forward step, he'd be grand.

But he did both

I could see it either way, it was reckless and stupid, he consciously made the decision to step and slow/brace vs others he initiated the shoulder to the head and had absolutely every opportunity to avoid it, just very cynical from start to finish, hopefully he will learn from it and it's a maturity thing.

Casey criticism for betting bounced, Doris got bounced into Oblivion earlier as well. And yeah he probs shouldn't be covering the wide channel on kicks.

Try watching Casey's game he's extremely quick around the ruck, has a top level pass and his support play is great.

It's so frustrating though, that once again the conversation is about cards, and jot rugby.

This is what the new laws have done

McCarthy will get glazed for giving two passes for the tries, but messy enough half so far.
