Some thoughts of my own: Firstly, England won't be having much edge in the scrum this time round. I fully expect Ross to have the upper hand on Marler, whilst Cole and Healy is all to play for. Englands scrum will be stronger if Hartley starts over Youngs. I wonder, but it must be tempting for Lancaster to put Hartley in for that purpose alone, as it really ended the game last time. Haskell is exactly the kind of player we need against Ireland. He has the physicality and was able to do a job on the South Africans. He was back to his storming best last week and I hope for more of the same. If we can stop the Irish pack going forward as quickly as they did in the first half, we can stop tries such as the first one. Forget O'Driscoll's lovely pass to Zebo for the try: Sextons pass is perfect and SHOWS O'Dirscoll precisely what line to run. If that pass isn't perfect, BOD, stands no chance on getting on the outside of the defender, and its no try. Sexton makes the whole system run like clockwork, he's the ond we need to get to. I'm completely torn about the centres. Twelvetrees and Tulagi are clearly the future, but the question is whether for this one game we should stick with the best defense we can, which is Barritt and Tuilagi. However, the England camp have been quite open about saying they plan to attack, so I imagine Tuilagi will come in. I feel he needs to be in really, because we need to keep O'Driscoll preoccupied as much as possible. Usually defences gravitate to Tuilagi, but Twelvetrees is a danger himself and if that creates room for him, all the better. I'm very worried about Ben Youngs' temperament. If Youngs can get off to a good start with some early running, I think he'll be fine, but Care's a more level-headed player for a crisis. Changes to the backs are essential, and I'd do the following: Strettle out of the 23, and Foden in. Goode back to the bench, Foden to the wing, and Brown to full-back.
