Spot on, it's a 1.6 so there's 450-500 miles per tank, but it's got enough poke to beat most things off the mark.

DC: Most people (especially youngsters) go for Ford as they are on of the cheapest cars to get parts for. I've got a Fiesta & its cracking car, it's really cheap to run (as I'm on part time hours).

The cars must be quite different here than in America.
Most people in this country would choose a standard Focus over a standard Honda Civic. Although they are both very reliable cars, Focus just has the classy looks about it.

But it's a very tough call when it comes to a choice between a Focus ST and a Civic Type R...

I hate fords with a passion. My mum's old ford falcon (1995 futura) is on its second engine due to a design fault that Ford Australia admitted was in that particular model. other problems have included the electrics being shot for the windows etc. I will though concede that the escort is pretty good and is often used for entry into the sport of rallying.

now a real car is a holden looks good and has awesome performance. My mate back in nz used to take me and a few others out cruising in his Dad's ss commodore and it was just amazing the speed handling etc it had, totally kicked ford's ass.

honda civics blow too. they are often girls cars or as mentioned old peoples cars usally grandma's etc. if any sane guy gets a civic he better be sharing it with his girlfrien/wife. I would get almost anything before a f***ing honda civic. toyota or nissan are way better and hell I would even get a ford before the civic too.
