I'm going to guess that South African posters here don't pay too much attention to Leinster assistant coach Stuart Lancaster's comments after a game in a supporters club bar. After last night's game, he was asked about Leinster's experience in SA where they played the Kings and Cheetahs. His comments are around 4 minutes into the clip at this link:
For those who don't click the link, he says Leinster had Stormers coaches Robbie Fleck and Gert Smal involved in training sessions. When asked what they made of the Pro14's expansion into SA, they said they'd love the Stormers to be a part of it.
Whether that's the position of the Stormers leadership is another question but given the rumours around a month ago that the Lions and Sharks were also interested in switching to the northern hemisphere season, I thought it was interesting.
