Being a strong advocate for tradition I wasnââ'¬â"¢t too pleased when Hong Kong was given a Bledisloe ahead of much more deserving places in Australia and New Zealand, but my time in South East Asia a month or so ago has slowly swayed me.
I am currently traveling away from my beloved Perth to see the world and experience what it has to offer. I had a two day stopover in Bangkok before moving onto Munich. I was interested to note the strength of the Football presence in Thailand and in my previous stopover, Singapore. Games were played regularly on television, there was various banners promoting Manchester United and locals walking around wearing their favourite premier league team kits.
