Hello all!

Have been looking for an active rugby site for a bit, and stumbled across this site today . Seems to have a lot of discussion going on so signed up and hopefully can add something to the forum.
Life story--played football (the American sort) for most of my life, got to university and started playing rugby, absolutely fell in love and haven't looked back since. Sevens player and 7/12/13/wing for 15s, play all over. Watch mainly Top 14 (Stade Toulousain fan, yeah...easy choice, first comp I watched when I began following the sport and they played so pretty, also like Montpellier a lot cause I was gonna study there so started watching til money issues occured :mellow and Super Rugby (don't know who to rout for [suggestions ?], love most all the games, this years fav is the Cheetahs).

Watch some NRL as well.

Anyways, glad to be here.

1-CPL when I can get to their games/find some way to watch them, yes. The ESPN3 coverage of the semis and finals is awesome. Played against a few of the teams in the fall as well. Was sad to see Life go out, they totally kicked our asses but were extremely nice hosts when we went down there. BYU-Cal is too predictable of a final. SL I just don't really know how to go about viewing for the most part. The Round of 16 (I think) is this weekend and is being partially hosted by the local rugby union, so I will get a chance to see those games.

2--QLD is definitely my favorite Aussie team, I think the first year I watched was when they were wooden spooners in 07, its been awesome to see Quade and Genia grow up. Big Digby fan as well, though I keep hearing rumors of him going to Japan?

2. Nah.. Digby is still denying it.. All still rumors.. But wouldnt mind seeing him go to Japan.. Japan has a nice Pro Comp running up there.

1. Did you go to any of those colleges that participate in the CPL?

No, played in MARFU (Mid Atlantic Rugby Football Union) up until this fall, now part of the ACRL (Atl. Coast Rugby League) after all the restructuring that has gone on. MARFU had Kutztown, Navy, Delaware, PSU, and maybe one more current CPL team in it, so we still have some good ties with them and play in them in friendlies. Our coach had yearly games with Life when he was at his old school and set up an annual match with them when he got here.
