Hi to everyone who can be arsed to read this thread, much appeciated.
I'm Andy from South Wales, but currently living in Denmark. Apologies to any Danish readers but your country is a dark and inhospitable place, only good for drinking and picking up hulking women with big eyebrows, who can drink you under the table...just like the Valleys...Ah, home from home.
I played a little rugby at school grade and some club stuff but not too much, but I still consider myself a world class armchair shouter and pundit and still harbour dreams of one day coaching The Lions. If only the selectors would look past the obvious.
My passion for the game does not, as would normally seem obvious, come from my dad. The old man could not give a badger's right knacker about rugby, but in contrast, the 'Old Budge', as I affectionately call my mam, is a phsychotic, shouty, sweary, xenophobic prop from the seventies (she's married fellas, sorry) and has guided (brainwashed) me into believing a welsh team from any generation, are the greatest rugby players to ever grace the field of play. I do, however, have my reservations about the late eighties and most of the nineties, some of the noughties, but I do think we're getting there.
Anyway, thanks for reading my rant and hope to engage soon.
Cheers,
Andy.
