I don't really know much about the game, yet I find it completely fascinating. My only real experience with Rugby was playing with some locals while my aircraft carrier (US Navy) was docked in Portsmouth during the mid 90's, and recieved a terrific black eye as a souvenir. Would love to see rugby catch on here in the states as it has around most of our planet.

welcome Neophyte, as a relative new comer to north america, I'm constantly surprised by the number of people that either play or follow the game here ... hopefully the game will continue to grow (I'm sure including sevens in the Olympics will increase the player numbers and quality)

Hey neophyte, welcome you'll like this place I think. I know what ya mean about the U.S. people and their regard for rugby. Somebody saw me looking at this site on my work computer and asked "What are you Australian?" Not rare enough to be a surprise but I try to set them straight everytime that happens though.
