Missed tackle by Trimble, score by Clermont. Could be a long day for Ulster unless they sort themselves out.

Brock James is seriously allergic to Ireland. Ulster are starting to pull their way back into this but they just aren't as sharp.

Graet try there brilliant work by D'Arcy, Ulster have this me thinks. Brilliant kick by Humps too.

Amazing!!! Humph with a late try! Ulster can actually win this haha

Superb win for Ulster given their current run of form. I don't think Clermont will be too displeased with a bonus point since this is bound to be a very tight pool.

A brilliant win for Ulster and this sets them up nicely. I think they will be in a great place to go to Welford Road and get something from there, especially with the poor form Leicester are in. After that they then have 2 games against Aironi where although they can't be complacent, they should expect 2 wins while Clermont and Leicester battle it out. Ulster could be a dark horse and they seem to be coming into the season now.

On the game Ferris was awesome, he is exactly what you want when playing a French team. He was at the front of everything Ulster did!! I was very impressed with Marshall as well. I thought Ulster would miss Peinarr but Marshall is actually playing better. D'Arcy made a great statement as well and I would be starting him next week.

Terrific win for Ulster. They defended and fought like demons. Ferris was immense and won the battle over Bonnaire and Clermont. Darcy looked sharp and what a run, albeit through some shoddy tackling, to set the try up. I thought one of the commentators were a bit disrespectful of Marshall by saying "Ulster miss Peinarr less" whereas on that showing Peinarr isn't guaranteed to get back into the team.

From a Welsh view I thought Byrne was good, set up the try in the first half and took nearly every garryowen thrown at him in the second half. He did drop 1 but no-ones perfect.

Pienaar really is. Marshall is capable of brilliance, but hasn't consistently backed it up... ever. Two weeks ago most Ulster fans wanted Marshall crucified. Also, even on his best day, he's no brains trust. The amount Humphreys magically improves when stuck next to Pienaar is unbelieveable.

Great to hear that Small Package had one of his great days, and I'd love to see him go ahead and start backing it up. But he has to do that before the idea we drop Pienaar for him begins to be even remotely credible.

i would be tempted to try d'arcy on the wing less defensive pressure and his attacks are allowed to be a tad more selfish

Out of curiousity, when is Sivivatu expected to arrive? Clermont's backline looked pretty dangerous as it was, so I'd be interested to see what effect he'd have.

Stephen Ferris is clearly taking some crazy steroids that cant be detected in a drugs test. The man isn't human

Mabye he just eats his greens and by green i mean atomic sludge

Hell yeah there was one part where he took off like a rocket from a standing start.. Pretty impressive for someone who's built like a train.

Ahh, I dunno. I don't trust his defending... not even slightly!

yeah but Danielli is just as unreliable and has less experience there. D'arcy fitted in well last season when Ulster were superb and I think he adds a great attacking dimension.

Great game from Ulster. Good all round performance. If we can pick up something against the Tigers and deny them a bonus point we'll be in good shape. Especially going into the next rounds as we gel the team even more in the league.

We had a great couple of seasons. With the new stadium on the way, support getting even better and with good performances, like we had on Saturday on the pitch, it's good to be an Ulster man!
