It's 4 tries or bust. I'm not sure if we can score four tries. I'm not sure whether I'm going to go to Belfast and watch this one.

I'm not sure of much tbh, except for if we lose this I'm going to flounce like a five year old whose ice cream fell off the cone. Because that would be appalling.

Very cold - 1 degree C - and no wind or rain forecast for tomorrow night. Should be a good game.

Everyone's favourite scrum-half secures the bonus point. Chuck all the subs on now please.

Ferris is clearly not human

Sean O'Brien eat your heart out

I'm going to open a can of worms. If Ferris was from Dublin, Cork or Limerick, he'd be getting far more credit from the media in southern Ireland. His performances when fit are better than how O'Brien and Heaslip have played for the last two seasons yet the Irish media as a whole have a universal man crush on Leinster pair.

Ulster should forget about getting a bonus point next week and just concentrate on getting a win. Two wins against Aironi away and Leicester at home will put them in a strong position to qualify since I feel Leicester and Clermont will take points off each other in the back to back games.

4 wins each puts Clermont ahead as they've got a bonus point against us and will undoubtedly pick up a second one off of Aironi. I imagine Tigers will also be able to grab one against Aironi and I'm not wildly optimistic about them keeping them outside 7. That will leave Ulster with 17 points, scrapping for second, and I can't think of many teams that get out of their group with only 17. That means we need bonus points (or a draw/win in Clermont which I will file under 'N' for Not Happening) - in fact I can't see a lbp there, 4 tries against Tigers is a difficult one to target... 4 tries at Aironi are the easiest bonus points on offer and we need some. Think the team is going to have to get them.

I'm not a fan of the whole media thing either, it's very footballish isn't, I'm not saying that O'Brien isn't immense or that Heaslip dosn't posses some very good talents but... Ferris is AWESOME! He just breathes intensity, a truly ferocious guy on the pitch. For what it's worth the grand slam winning backrow of Wallace, Ferris, and Heaslip, was the best we've had in a while, Wallace and Ferris are just that little bit better than O'Brien IMO, they bring a few more subtle skills which I believe O'Brien to be lacking (currently).
We are absolutely blessed with some of the backrow talent we have in the country though!
