Think the odds are spot on. Clermont must the favourites but I might stick a tenner on tigers at 3-1

Clermont's home record is immense, here are some stats

Clermont have won their last 35 home matches

the last time they lost at home was in November 2009 against Biarritz (they are undefeated at home this decade)

in that period no team has come within a penalty of beating or drawing with them

I wonder whether they'll extend their home streak to 50 at the beginning of next season, but they haven't been impressive since their internationals returned for some reason so Leicester are playing them at the right time from their point of view

Like I said the odds are spot on but £10 on my team at 3-1 is worth a punt

That is a very impressive stat - hadn't realised they had such a fortress there.

I think Tigers will push them close, though - might even manage to squeak a win.

Tigers aren't entirely all there themselves, returning to form but do they have any fit centres yet?

I'd expect Clermont to win this. However, I don't care, as long as whoever wins this then tramples all over the other in the return fixture.

Manu Tuilagi said on Twitter he's back this weekend - whether he's fit enough to start, or he'll come off the bench, I don't know

Leicester getting blown away. Yet again, sin binnings were key and its now damage limitation for the Tigers now

Only 3 British sides have won there. Bristol being one and I forget the other two.

anyone notice the tigers' attack looking suspiciously like England's? Anyone notice X amount of forwards dawdling in midfield with no depth and no convincing decoy runners? Poor Flood can take the ball as flat as he likes, but the rest of his backline must be coming at pace and from deep for it to make any impact on a defence.

Absolutely. Flood seemed clueless and there was no creativity in the Leicester backs. Tuilagi huffed and puffed but.........

Because Allen is injured, Tulagi is a 13, and Matt Smith is better on the wing imo. Should have started Twelvetree's I thought the pack was pretty bad especially around the breakdown tbh, they really need a new hooker and a new fullback (Murphy is getting pretty old now).
