Well that's Northampton out of Europe. Might be a good thing in the long run, if they can get up into the Aviva top two and hopefully win it without fatigue and bannings playing an issue

Was always going to be an as when Mallinder started Myler over Lamb...

As you said, though, it may be a blessing in disguise in that they can focus fully on the prem now, and their first choice players won't burn out like they did last year

Yeah, just Castres were much more clinical. Got to say Pisi played well, far better than his show against the Scarlets.

Oh well at least are over priced European shirt will be on sale soon :D

It makes me wonder what sort of team Mallinder will put out for the remaining games, may as well run the kids out and give them some experience.

I am going to assume they are commited to play at the MK stadium, I am not sure if they will get the crowds they want for what is now a nothing game, unless the tickets go very cheap.

Northampton were probably really, really tired [/pathetic excuse].

Where did that little chestnut come from then?

As far as I have heard from the camp, we were just poor and made to many stupid mistakes. Two players sent to the bin, we deserved to lose. No excuses.

Reference to the final last season where they were so "tired" after the first half.

Just like Leinster were "tired" for the Magners final... [/another pathetic excuse]

Anyway, enough paddy bateing. More deserving team won. Saints made the mistakes and paid the price.
