and i think this will be Connacht first lost off the season. can't see them beating a strong Glasgow team at Scotstoun

I certainly hope you're right Scotty. I don't expect an easy victory though. Connacht seem to have a bit of momentum behind them and will come to Scotstoun well up for it I'm sure.

Plenty of momentum on Glasgow's side too - you'd have to back the home win there.

There's been an Irish training camp this week, so expect some odd teams.

I am very very excited about that bench.

Something I'm less excited about is the rumours that Healy is out for 6 months with his hamstring being torn from the bone.

Pah. Wee buns. Easy peasy.

They'll just threaten to head to London* and the Scot's will cave...

Liking that second row! I'm not going to enjoy the Matt O'Connor ****e backs play though....

Bad week medically for Ireland.

SOB supposedly goosed ankle after being misdiagnosed and had to have clean out of ankle.
Cian Healy (who's had alot of ****les around legs) has supposedly tore hamstring off bone and for anyone who know's much about it this is 1 of worst things you can do and add in all his other ****les will be worst too as the won't be mobile.
Donnacha Ryan had been misdiagnosed and after resting toe for 4 months was told be 2nd opinion in UK it was a waste and he has to go for surgery after all.
We're also fighting hard to look after Keats as he needs surgery eventually.
And that's only the start of list

Ulster team named

Gilroy; Bowe, Cave, McCloskey, Allen; Jackson, Heaney; Black, Herring, Fitzpatrick, McComb, Van der Merwe, Wilson (c), Ross, Williams

subs: Best, Murphy, Herbst, Stevenson, McComish, Marshall, Humphreys, Trimble

Interesting team.

Edinburgh are shocking so Scarlet could get the away win, although they pretty poor also. Munster v Ospreys could be tough for the reds. Would love to see Connacht have a real cut at Glasgow. Ulster to win in Italy and Dragons to beat Treviso. That leaves Leinster v Cardiff. Have to go for a home win but think it will be tight, very tight. So wins for Edinburgh, Connacht, Leinster, Ulster, Dragons. I know a draw in rugby is as rare as hens teeth but cant separate Munster v Ospreys so hens teeth it is!
