Decent team, with some interesting selections.

It's a pity that Jennings last match for Leinster we=ill have been in a loss vs the Dragons where he had to go off after 10 minutes.

20. Jack O’Donoghue
21. Duncan Williams
22. JJ Hanrahan
23. Andrew Conway

O'Mahony and Zebo out with minor injuries. O'Donnell has a hamstring tear that will have him out for 6-8 weeks. Interesting to see Ryan shuffled into backrow. Personally I would have left him in the second row, shuffled Stander in to 6 and brought O'Donoghue in at 8, but it's much of a muchness. Interesting to see John Ryan get the nod. His scrummaging was great last week to be fair. He's developed well even with Cronin and Kilcoyne seen as ahead of him, and the fact he's had to shuffle between tight and loose head. We have a bench that can get us the bonus point if it comes to that in the last 20. Sightly dissapointed that Bleyndaal isn't in the team, but it's understandable that he's not that far along yet.

D. Ryan is there on request from Irish management. Tyler wasn't ready to play in this game yet and having the flu earlier in the week wasn't helpful. John Ryan was starting always as Cronin is out and Killer barely trained due to his concussion recovery. Paulie is 50/50 up to the game too.

nice to see Ulster throwing in the towel vs Glasgow.

Looks pretty swervey to me...

wow i think Ulster are really underrating Glasgow here, they're in for a big shock even though we have some players out injured tbf but jesus.

I'd say their selection has more to do with knowing how good Glasgow are rather than underrating them. If Jackson and Pienaar were starting that backline would be very exciting. It'll be interesting to see how Arnold gets on, has looked very good for the 20s at 12, he's also only 18. Rory Scholes will be the other player I'll be keeping an eye on. He's been unlucky with injury this year but is a player I have a lot of time for, very intelligent in everything he does.

Yeah. No offence Scotty, but you need to engage the brain there - they've pretty clearly not picked that because Ulster think it's their best chance of winning/all they need to do to win.

1. 'We?'
2. It's literally the complete opposite of what you said. We picked up a load of injuries at the weekend, including Payne, Tuohy, Black, Herbst, Cave and more.. I think they looked at this game and said we probably couldn't win without near full strength. I don't like that attitude, especially with a handful of games left, but that's most likely the reasoning.

Ulster have accepted they'll be away for Semi Final and basically said they'll rest up and go for it in away game that'll matter most.

Yea, we actually asked the Pro12 board could we send the schoolboys as we felt playing this pitiful Glasgow side was beneath us. They wouldn't even settle for the Ravens either.

So we sent the Ravens in all but name instead. It might not say Ravens on the jersey, but it'll be the same group and mentality. Watch out Scotstoun.

Anyway, after all that fixture fulfilment administration stuff is said and done, at the end of the day its only the Glasgow "warriors", like, what have they done all season? I expect us to at least have our try bonus point by half time... probably within the first twenty minutes if were really being honest about it....

Well we've done our job. Got our BP already. How's rest going. Looks to be some interesting scores

Well we had a great run out. Tried a few things and well performed. Vitally we had errors so still work to be done for next weekend but we are at home to Ospreys and well it's a nice position to be in.
John Ryan and Guinazu are turning in some massive performances lately. Paulie is playing some of his best rugby and Donnacha Ryan is really looking to make RWC. CJ Stander is my player of league this season. Yet another massive game. Murray was unplayable at times and well backs were excellent at times.
Big shoutout to Ben Whitehouse the ref. He's really a chip off the old block. I've seen him few times and dare I say he's on the path to being the top ref in Europe (at least) in next 2 years

Guinazu joins Buckle and Heguy at Grenoble, Watremez, Lakafia, Foure, and one of the props at Toulon who have all been brilliant for most of the season yet, apart from Lakafia, never really did it at Biarritz!!

Menini it was!!

um, may i ask why you posted this here ?, this is the pro 12 chat's

Relying to @munstermuffin who mentioned Guinazu Sir! Sorry Sir!

He will certainly be an asset. Before he joined I was told he was a journeyman etc but his throwing is average but scrummaging is well up there. As is his work at breakdown and in tight. FWIW he hasn't signed for anyone yet
