* NH Player of the Year - Brian O'Driscoll
* SH Player of the Year - Heinrich Brussow
* Rugby League Player of the Year - The new halfbacks for England (based on 3 games I saw whilst not entirely sober), or the Aussie captain (based on one grubber kick which impressed me so much I tried it the next game. With somewhat less success, and slightly more abuse followed)
* NH Young Player of the Year - Leigh Halfpenny
* SH Young Player of the Year - David Pocock
* International team of the year - South Africa
* NH Club/Provincial team of the year - Leinster will win (and deserve to). I'll vote for London Irish, who deserve a mention
* SH Club/Provincial team of the year - Bulls
* Match of the year - Ireland v France
* Coach of the year - Toby Booth
* Worst Jersey of the Year - Edinburgh's 3rd kit. Only we could try to copy and fail so comprehensively
* Try of the year - Max Evans against Wales, mostly because it silenced (for a minute) an annoying Welshmen who droned on about boring Scotland and exciting Shane. I think it was Thom Evans, against Toulouse (are we doing NH season 08/09, or 2009?) that also was pretty epic. (It takes balls to suggest the best two tries came from Scots)
There is a NH bias here, mostly because I don't watch much from the south.
