The French actually have a quality number of players in the works that I'm eagerly awaiting to grow into their roles. I think there are few good names that can be added to your list. I'm not sure which Taofifenua you've mentioned, but I've decided to add both. Fullback: Brice Dulin (Agen), Jean-Marcellin Buttin (Clermont) Wing: Gabriel Lacroix (Albi) Center: Geoffrey Doumayrou (Montpellier), Fabrice Catala (Perpignan) Fly half: Raphaël Lagarde (Montpellier), Jean Barraque (Biarritz) Scrum half: Mathieu Belie (Brive), Thierry Lacrampe (Castres), Yann Lesgourgues (Biarritz), Éric Escande (Montpellier) Third row: Alexandre Lapandry (Clermont), Wenceslas Lauret (Biarritz) Second row: Romain Taofifenua (Perpignan), Sébastien Vahaamina (Perpignan) Front row: Mickaël Ivaldi (Toulon), Sébastien Taofifenua (Perpignan) Although Lesgourgues hasn't impressed early this season, he still has potential to be a great player. I've really enjoyed watching players like Dulin, Belie and Lagarde this season. It will be really interesting to see how Lagarde fits in once Trinh-Duc returns. If I had to guess, he may be moved to scrum half. Lauret lost playing time last season with the emergence of Lakafia, but he's been looking good this season despite Biarritz's poor positioning early on and is supposed to continue receiving plenty of playing time now that the cup is over. Lauret will likely alternate throughout the third row where needed. Lacroix is a player to watch for the future. He just turned 18 recently and won't be at Albi once the season is over. With Escande, it will be difficult for him to remain at Montpellier as he develops, since they already have Lagarde and Trinh-Duc among others. I've heard rumors that Stade Français may pursue him next summer.
