Fairgrounds

So, we got a fair set up on the town green.

We walked past last night and thought we'd take our son today.

Got a phone call and our friends kid fell out of the baby roller coaster and got run over by the cars (he's in hospital but ok, it's Pneumatic tyres so he's just bruised).

We schlepped over there this afternoon thinking we'd just let our boy do some of the stalls...gave him â'¬5 and he won a gold fish, and with the rest of his money he wanted to go on a boat ride (think airplane rides you see at all the fairgrounds but a boat on water)

Reluctantly we let him do it, thinking what can go wrong, it's just a merrygoround?

Two minutes into it the kid two boats behind climbs up out goes head first into the water gets trapped between the boat and the side of the ride and dragged along head under the water (again he's ok just scared sh*tless).

We left, for obvious reasons.

How absolutely dreadful for you................if any consolation, I fell between some small pleasure speed boats many, many years ago and was fished out by a boat hook at the back of my shirt....I survived to many people on here's consternation!!

Hope your son survives as well and as a long as I have...............!!

Our friends kid is fine, concussion but nothing worse.
