To prepare yourself for this summer's clash, may I recommend taking a trip down memory lane?
The ESPN Classic TV channel is currently showing selected matches from the 1974 tour of South Africa.
The programmes are repeated regularly so don't worry if you miss one - but on Wed 6 May the programmes start at 8:10pm. Try to see the Second Test - often described as "one of the finest displays of attacking rugby the game has seen".
Although fitness and tactics have changed considerably, the sheer pace of JJ Williams and the jinking and swerving of Phil Bennett are still a joy to watch. Happy days.
