EPL in 2010

The ECB have confirmed that the EPL will start in 2010, it'll have 20 teams with 2 divisions of 10 teams consisting of the 18 counties and 2 overseas teams.

Well it'll be long after the IPL so presumably all the players will be available, but they were saying something about only 3 overseas players being allowed. England players though look like being the ones to miss out again as presumably there'll still be a heavy ODI schedule during June

The way the IPL is growing (they have the second largest crowds in the world after NFL and have plans to add 4 more teams) i think it will be difficult to the EPL to attract non-english players. I also think the EPL needs a change of name, sounds too much like the soccer one, and although i think it wll be much better than the current one, i dont think many will agree.

EPL will be poor, counties wanted to stay as counties as they feared that bringing in Cities would be popular and would lead to the demise of counties, in my opinion the EPL will be a shambles!

Bad idea! 20 teams is a lot, especially with only 3 imports per side.. India is the future of cricket, well domestic cricket anyway, lets just leave it at that.
