England v Fiji - 8/11/2025

That would be a very well deserved cup but an unlikely path (I hope) unless we or NZ are in the 'group of death' (less likely with more teams though).

I'm OK not winning the thing. Just please not SA and their insufferable fans again …

This far out you’ve gotta think the threepeat’s on. But there’s a bit of a Dad’s Army issue.

IF Bothwick can marshall his resources properly, we should be in the mix. Like everyone it depends on some key players staying fit and a couple emerging.

Yeah … the Boks will always be strong. Even if some of the stalwarts are over the hill come 2027, players like SFM (not even gonna attempt the spelling) and Moodie will be hitting their peak.

We just need to focus on what we can control. Adding Blackett is hopefully a key piece in the jigsaw that gets us firing. I am encouraged at how Borthwick is building depth and versatility in the squad and I like his focus on making the best of the resources we have rather than pining for players that don’t exist (or have made themselves unavailable).

Fiji lineup very similar to the one that beat Scotland in the summer so we will need to be on our game today. In years gone by they might have doubted they could win at Twickenham but not now …

We started well last weekend and should have had a lot more to show for our opening quarter than we did. Getting points on the board early doors will be important today I think.

I’ve seen some say we’re playing a fringe team which is inaccurate IMO. Most of those rotated in are returning Lions or players with a good claim of being first choice. Looking forward to a good game.

Openside, before Cunderhill made it so they couldn't ignore it anymore

Maybe it's a long game, cause after all that we've now got potentially the best depth at 7 in the world

Plenty of 12s emerging now...

Looking forward to this one, i cant imagine the reuslt is under threat, but if Fiji can keep the mistakes to a minimum first half and stay in touch England will have to really work for the W late on...

I think everyone wants that, and not a few early England scores, thatll kill the game

I don't know about that. England should beat Fiji but they will be competitive and are in good shape right now.

We will have to play well to win.

Im not sure, names are all there, bit some substandard players too, and some weapons without a rounded game
