Editing database using Rugby Editor

I have been attempting to edit my database using the Rugby Editor, which works just fine. The problem is after I have created several players the game then crashes. Is there anyway around this?

I am creating an American/Canadian league.

Would it be better to simply overwrite an existing league by editing team names and players to create the league. I see several problems with this like flags, they are contingent upon the three letter abbreviation for each team. Also when you edit team names a team with the game for example Old Blue RFC, it would come out all smashed together with no spaces. Is there anyway around this.

I am looking for the best way to get this mod out for everyone to enjoy, if y'all have any ideas, just let me know.
