Dexter

Only seen the first season, but I agree - was badass

Going to have to watch the rest - got Breaking Bad (seen just over a seasons worth) and Sons of Anarchy (got season 1 but not watched any yet) to catch up on as well...

The first season was quality yeah. Still, I wish Rita would have killed someone or something so Dex could have taken her our of the show. Bloody moany thing.

i love dexter, though i havnt seen all of season five yet.

seen most of it.

i like rita :(

sure she was annoying but she had to be there. and she wasnt bad eye candy.

Much as I loved the concept, I think it needs to pack its bags and take a break... there's not too much they can do with it that's original. Still, I'd watch another season if it was on...

Aye, but this is America. If a show still has earning power then damn artistic integrity. House, The Simpsons and Friends being just a few examples of shows that dragged on far too long.

how can the Simpson drag on they don't change at all through each episode

I think the Simpsons has definitely gone past it's best - the episodes get more and more obscure each season, it's like it's trying to be more like family guy or something

yes, for quite a while now the Simpsons has been awful

far too much slapstick in it these days

they ought to release a new Simpsons with all the characters grown up

that would freshen the show up imo

Dexter in the Dark was just silly in my opinion , dont like the whole paranormal aspect , much prefered the fact he was just a everyday serial killer lol

Nothing to do with character development, it's simply that the writers look to be out of ideas. Take any episode from the first 10ish series and you'll find a really great gag at least once a minute. Lately, one an episode would be good. They seem to be appealing more and more to the lowest common denominator and forgetting that a lot of people who watch the show are actually pretty smart. You made an episode about an Edgar Allen Poe poem guys, now look at ye!

The Simpsons is a show of the 1990's. The standout show of the 90's really. After that though it was all down hill. Shame on Matt Groening for cheapening the name of one of the greatest shows of all time.

Seen every Dexter episode, still the only tv series I anticipate.........anyone know a start date for series 6????
