Referee:

This is the biggest game of the weekend, with the Lions able to secure a a first place finish on the log should they notch up any sort of win. For Province, though, it's do-or-die stuff, with a win absolutely vital for them to ensure qualification for the knock-outs ahead of the Bulls and Griquas. This season needs a fairy-tale of sorts to unfold and while they are far from favourites, our gut tells us that Province are going to pull off an upset here (don't ask why).

I can't see us (WP) winning this one but then again I couldn't see us win last week LOL. Our biggest problem IMO is at center. I'd put Saide at 12 and move Brache out a position as he has a good pass but rarely uses it and when he does the space has allready closed up cause he always looks for a gap and does this irritating little shuffle before looking to pass..

Lions by 13.

RRRR... Got the winning margin WRONG again!!! Grrrr!!!

Well it's settled now, Lions secure the home final, with the Sharks and Cheetahs battling the log leaders and Griquas respectively for the other home semi.

I doubt we will beat the Lions, whilst the Cheetahs are at home, so this is how I think the log will end up.

Lions
Cheetahs
Sharks
Western Province
--------------------
Bulls
Griquas

All will change depending on whether SA lose against Aus, so I'll wait until after the game.

Cheetahs are very likely to pick up 5 points at home against the Griquas (who should never be underestimated though!) with both teams likely to give the ball some air.

Which means the Sharks will also have to get the 5 pointer as points difference is vastly in the Cheetahs' favor...

I'd say your prediction for the final log standing is bankable.

Yet, your returning Bokke might have other plans.

No. of wins is the first deciding factor if teams have the same amount of log points
