Clermont Auvergne have announced that two of their key players have committed their future to the Top 14 giants. Forward duo Jamie Cudmore and Davit Zirakashvili have both penned new contracts with Les Jaunards. The pair follows in the footsteps of Brock James, Julien Bardy, Wesley Fofana and Noa Nakitaci in committing their future to the Heineken Cup quarter-finalists.

Good to see Cudmore getting extended, hopefully he can keep the discipline issues in check he's also one of the few Canadians playing at a top flight. Jason Marshall also got extended at D2 club Aurilliac a couple of weeks back so it looks like there is going to be a presence of lumberjacks in the French leagus going forward.

If by how he goes about it now is in-check, I'd hate to see what your opinion of a 'not in-check' disciplinary record is! :p

LOL, it's a shame because when he puts his mind to it, he is one of the best second rowers in the world. His work for Canada in the last year(only one yellow card and that was a weak call) was superb and the Tongan game he was massive in defence.
