Hey all,
As the World Cup is aproaching, networks in many countries are showing replays of past RWC matches, so I thought it would be a good idea to open a thread to comment them.

I'm watching Wales versus New Zealand 2003 game, the last game of pool D. That was a really cracking game. I think that if Cooper had had a better game, Wales could have pushed it all the way. Extremely good game by Stephen Jones, much better than any game I've seen of him in the last years.

I also watched Ireland Vs Argentina in 1999, another great match.

Have you watched any recently? Or perhaps comments from memory?

ESPN are showing a lot of stuff over in the UK, nice to see.

NOPE :p but I love England VS France semifinals 2003 and 2007 hehehe and what about you?? :p

Well I prefer France-NZ in 99 and 2007 =P. Well, we do have some difficulties playing against the English. But then again, so do Australia!

I think that there are a few games that we all know by heart. Basically all the finals and every game NZ have lost. I had a great weekend watching games I had no memory of, like the two I mentioned there.

I'm in Chile atm and I'm getting an Argentine ESPN that shows rugby 24/7, and I'm loving it.

:p ....... Yep I also like Both Argentina VS France 2007... by the way Rougerie Is back all right????

Yes, that was a good game indeed. Watched i with a bunch of Argies...

Rougerie is back to training since a couple of weeks, Lièvremont has said he'll probably play this saturday.

Australia v France 1987 semi final....

Memories

► Alan Jones constantly adjusting his tie as the French came storming back into the match....

► Didier Camberabero (sporting what must have been the worst "possum head" of all time) kicking a penalty goal to level the scores at 24-all with two minutes left on the clock...

► With full time almost up, France pulling off the kind of play that only France can do, refusing to let the ball die, throwing desperate passes in a movement that seems like every player in the team handled the ball until it got to Serge Blanco, who ran 25 metres and dived over in the left-wing corner to win the match.

How can you forget the FIRST EVER RUGBY WORLD CUP GAME?....

New Zealand vs Italy 1987. Michael Jones scores the first ever RWC try and John Kirwan scored a never seen before type of a try, beating 5 or so defenders and running 70 metres or so.

I enjoyed the Fiji vs. Wales game in 2007, not a classic, but the game I enjoyed the most in the RWC

Actually, Michael Jones didn't score the first ever Rugby World Cup try, but he was the first player to score a Rugby World Cup try?

Hehehe ... yes, I remember it well ... there were some memorable matches involving France at that cup ... I liked France Fiji - I remember the dropped ball from Koroduadua, when he was carrying it one handed, the try would have won Fiji the match

... couldn't find the footage, but here's a try from the match :D

Fiji V South Africa, think it was the last world cup, Epic game, south africa woke up in the final few minutes of the game and won it, but Fiji played some awsome rugby!

Ireland-Australia 1991 and 2003 were both good matches where Ireland could have won but didn't.
England-Australia 2007 was a good match.
All Blacks-England 1995.

Aye, loved the wee kick by the one Fijian when he was in his 22

Didn't bother with all that picking up the ball hogwash, simply waited for it bounce and HOOF!
