What does Jim Mallinder have against playing a proper back row???

I'm not sure I can cope with this again

Everyone seems to be crocked. E Waller, Brookes, Hartley, Gibson, Wood, (Clark), Dickinson, Fisher are all out in the forwards, as well as Dickson, North (not sure if injured?), Tuala, Wilson, Stephenson in the backs. That said, even a full strength Saints side would struggle to pull this one out tbh as about half the team seems to be off form. Fully expecting it to be a bit of a snoozefest.

I understand we have a load of injuries but Nutley is a 6, lawes is a lock, Harrison is a 7 and Patterson on the bench had loads of experience playing 8.

Jim seems to love moving the players around, he must have been taught be Lancaster.

The team should be

4 lawes
5 day
6 Nutley
7 Harrison
8 Patterson

Each player playing in their correct position.

Yep. That said, Patterson's been out since the end of Jan or something, so I'm guessing he's not 100 % fit yet.

I wonder if Lewis Ludlam can sneak in any game time in the next few weeks considering there are so many players out. I'm guessing Mallinder/West would play Matfield at 7 before giving him a chance though.

Fixed it for you

Finally, I can watch this match, as it's on Sky. Looking forward to this one!!!

Will be interested to see how the England contenders fair in this game. Have not seen much of Will Fraser, so will looking forward to see how he goes at 7.

I think Fraser unlucky to get yellow there. Norts fail to score pen.

What has Fraser got stuck behind his left ear! Looks like some kind of receiver!!!

He can get a new battery in the next 10 Minutes!!

They analyse concussion/head trauma in colisions
All the sarries players wear them, have done for a year or more

Looked like a sticker.

What a howler from Norts 11.

It's basically an accelerometer afair... taped to the head for more accurate readouts than ones simply worn around the chest.

Harrison continues to be outstanding in everything he does.

Should go on the Saxons tour this summer IMO.

Thanks for that and makes sense......thought it was so Wray could tell them how
Much money extra he will pay them when they do something right!!

If only Saints had a kicker!!

Surely no one can have a go at ford after Farrell's tackling display today!!

Sarries have been very poor, the fact that Northampton haven't scored as many points as they should have could and probably will cost them.
