Yep, all I've heard from most Australians is straight honesty on this and their to be commended for that. Mind you, it wasn't their fault that this all happened anyhow, it's just one of those things that happens in a knock-out tourney.

Even if we do win the world cup, I still think knock-out tourneys do not really show who the best side in the world is, except for at the time of the tourney and maybe up to 6 months later. It's a glorious tournament to win and easily the greatest, but it's not a four year license to greatness in my eyes.
