Midi Olympique has so far had Harinorduquy going to Toulon, Lakafia going to Racing or Clermont, Traille going to Stade Paloise, Thibault DuBarry signed by Perpignan and today Yach, in the probable event of relegation, has asked to leave..............

Whilst happy to see Damien and Imanol leave and not that fussed about Yach after his performances this season, it would be sad to see Dubarry (he cannot be on that much?) and Lakafia going...........

How many others will leave the snking ship?

Surely they can only leave at the end of the season, unless of course the club lets them all go........
does not sound good in Basque country, hope some of this rubs off on Bayonne as we are there next Fri evenin,g, the love affair with Canal + continues must be something to do with Isabelle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that that is what they are saying.....it is the usual rumbles in the jungle either by the journos with nothing ot do or more likely the agents starting the bidding war as a number of out of contract next year!

Aaah Isabelle!...there is very little I envy you about really but having a decent team to enjoy and meeting the lovely Isabelle from time to time may be the two of the them!!!!

Why would Toulon want Imanol???

I do not have one clue!!!! He is passed it and has been out all of this season bar one cameo appearance of 3O minutes and it would be difficult for him to come back to even the level of last season which was not great!

Second choice hooker Jean Phillipe Genevois to Perpignan..........reports that he is there looking with his agent to secure a deal in the next few days?

If Biarritz, do go down they will have to get rid of loads of players to make way for the usual average number of Islanders( pacific that is) and the average no. of Sud Affas that seem to be using the Pro D2 as a stepping stone into the Elite. I have nothing against this before you all start ranting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumour is that DuBarry is now going to Racing and not USAP!

New rumour is of Teddy Thomas leaving for Stade Toulousain..........................what about Zee..............thought he would be the most wanted of all!!

apparently Teddy Thomas has talks with Leicester Tigers officials over the during the Round 4 round of the Heineken cup.

Thomas would be mad to go there as he is definitely a future international but is raw and needs to be somewhere like Toulouse or Clermont to be looked after and brought on plus he needs to be in France to ensure he is seen and recognised.............good news is that they would have to pay Biarritz money due to his being trained through the excellent academy!!!!

Are you sure about that, the club only receives monies if the player has not signed a full pro contract with his formater club eg he is still on an Espoir contract or attached to the Academy the same happened to us with Louis Picamoles we were lucky as he was still attached to the Academy and had no pro contract so Toulouse had to pay for his formation.

I believe that he is not on a pro contract but maybe wrong but this is where I got the infrmation...http://www.rugby-transferts.com/top-14/biarritz/0023512-teddy-thomas-va-t-il-filer-langlaise.html

Imanol Harinordoquy to resign a the end of the season......Ater a sterling career for both Biarritz and France, the great Imanol has announced his retirement according to the Irish Independent.(http://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/five-players-who-flourished-in-france-29917189.html)

No one, least of all I, can deny his huge contribution to Biarritz and I wish him well in his retirement from rugby and in his new clothes designa and shops business.........it is the right decision for him ax injuries and time have taken their toll.

Wow, this is it huh ?...man, he's really gone way down hill since the RWC...he never got the level back since the injury, plus with the crappy publicity Biarritz has been having...no chance.
Too bad, who the heck could have predicted this for him after seeing the match he had in the RWC Final......how fast one can sink, huh ?..

Well, I guess we all saw it coming. He's too expensive a player for someone playing that little. He works in his dad's pig farm too from what I saw on a... documentary I guess you could call it.

I think the 17 out of 32 club matche in 2012/13 and 9 out of 20 club matches in 2013/14 seasons has a lot to do with it but also, it must be said, apart from the line out where he is still a vital weapon, he has offered little in the last 18 months at the scrum or around the park, where his rest periods with "injury" have increased.

Indeed, he has kept players, with more interest than himself in playing in the wet and windy vital relegation clashes, out of the team and one wonders whether his influence behind the season has really been a good thing for a number of years?

One ask the question as one does not know but one has one's gut feelings!!

Just noticed that rumours indicate that Traille may take a one year contract with Toulon.................Yippee!!
