Here are some recommendations for when you come to see my team The Ospreys.

Recommend the Italian opposite the Liberty Stadium for a nice sit down meal and a Pizzeria Vesuvio just opposite the stadium on the Neath Road is excellent.

As is Rossi's Chip shop next door if you don't have the need to sit down and eat (commonly known as your missus).

At The Liberty I highly recommend the Steak Slices sold inside, and the Beer is good for a Rugby Stadium tap. Though the choice is poor and not local.

After the Rugby there are loads of excellent bars and pubs in town, the nearest pub for a quick after match pint is "The Railway". Just up the hill alongside Rossi's Chip Shop I mentioned before. on Station Road.

For a day after Breakfast, get down to Mumbles and walk along the beach and enjoy a good Welsh breakfast in any cafe, there are many along the beach. Get there early as the Cockles and Lava bread run out fast.

For a Sunday Roast i Highly recomend that you drive out of town and up into the hills behind for value and favour and go to one of the many pubs. a current trendy one is the Pen Cae Inn.

I got food poisoning off a steak + ale at Wasps and had a week in bed feeling grim. Tasted nice though.

Pies at twickenham are good even if the price is a bit steep.

Also, everything else at Twickenham is £5 plus which is far too much. Apart from one van that does hot-dogs with all sorts of sausages which you can get for £4.

I prefer to have a sausage sandwich at home cos it's cheaper. Or every saturday morning there's a farmer's market 10 mins bike ride across the river from where i live and you can pick up bacon sarnis for £3 which is the nicest bacon in the world and they stack it about as thick as a Big Mac.

Otherwise, buy a foot of biltong from one of the many south african shops nearby and chew on that.

If you get somewhere early, I'd reccommend finding a Wetherspoons. Apart from anything else £1 buys you a pint, but they do a very good Full English for £2.50 which can burn off a hangover very nicely.

Still got some way compete with the likes of Italy. At Viadana they had a good Italian BBQ going before the match, during the match they were serving Italian cakes with mulled wine and sweets but the grand finale was post match when the Supporters club came in with good parma ham, local cheese and free bottles of Lambrusco to start and ended with good local Italian lamb shank.

I don't know what those Italian girls do in the kitchen but what they produce is lightyears ahead of anything on these shores!

The Pasty stall on the way to Twickers (just before the Off license that turns into a bar on match day) is always a good bet..

I don't know about you, but when i went to watch the Boks last year, they had some great Burger and Spies. But if you don't go for Burger and Spies, then don't Botha.

It still looks awesome and tasty...[/b]

yeeah I agree Shtove and Prestwick

Pizza is great and very tasty and awesome, while this food called Mcvadi is very fascinating also

I also know people in rugby enjoy high caloric food, hence kabab will look attractive for them as well

but this is the specially cooked one ;) ;) ;)

Some meal. I had four chicken sandwiches.

As for Rugby, my club tends to provide lamp chops with all the trimmings. That's just for after training...
