new full 12 minute trailer has footage from the previous ones but there is so new stuff towards the end. I know it's still kind of early but I believe this has game of the year potential.

no harm, im new on this forum, but have been on many forums for a long time, so i know that you have to respect others in order to make people come back... to be fair to you, you seem like a typical key board warrior who likes to post s*** and smart snotty answers, so im not going to come back with a smart ass answer like the one you've posted above... all im saying is the speed at which you run etc is unrealistic in comparison to battlefield who seem to have really taken this into consideration... if youd like ill edit my post to confirm its IN MY OWN OPINION!

Got to agree though, Battlefield games feel more realistic, than COD - especially "Medal of Honour", cracking game that, and I really regret trading it in
I think it's the online that makes it feel like it, in COD you can go around mowing people down with an M16 and that's that, but in BF/MOH you've got to work together, or at least more as a team, rather than running around like rambo
However both styles have their merits, and they are two different styles of FPS online play - I like em both anyway

I see where you're coming from. But I THINK THERE'S ALOT OF PEOPLE (caps lock sorry) who've find that COD is getting a bit old. I'd still rather play Battlefield 2 online than COD and BF£ looks phenomenal and alot of people have been waiting for this.

I agree with you, but I have friends who sit there and tell me how derivative COD is yet will rack up 5 hours each night on it consistently. Activision don't need to do much to recycle their fans, its becoming like Barbie with a new hat to some degree LOL. Anyway, I always preferred Battlefield just because it seemed more realistic. And also because you could jump in an out of vehicles without issue.

This game looks insane! Just watched the trailers released at E3. There seems to be a similar storyline between this and MW3 though. Bit disappointing if thats the case, the last thing I think the Iraq/Afghanistan conflicts would offer some brilliant storylines without having to "Tom Clancy" it up :S

Its addictive. I found myself playing for hours even after I had got fed up with it. So I went cold turkey and sold my COD games!

I switched to Battlefield bad company 2 and wondered why it took me so long to play it. No doubt I'll be getting Battlefield 3. The big advantages over COD is the slower pace, vehicles and of course destruction. They're now adding in a new game engine so for me its no contest which game will be better (that or MW3).

bumping this thread to let everyone know open beta on all platforms (360,ps3 and pc) is september 29th. if you have a limited edition of moh or pre-ordered pc version through origin you get in the beta a couple days early on september 27th.

I did have the Limited edition of MOH and entered the code on the box (I think it gave you a gun early, as well as access to the beta), but then sold it on - this pleases me immensely


I'm completely addicted to BF: BC2 after firing up the online to get used to FPSs again :lol:
