With Donoghue looking to-the-manor-born since moving up to FH against Bristol; and the arrival of Carreras, are we looking at a log-jam for our young options in these positions? I think we all agree that the older head pecking order next year is likely to be: 10: Russell > Carreras 15: Carreras > DeGlanville And there's room for all 3 in a match-day squad. Then behind them, we've got Bailey ........... DoB Sept 2001 Donoghue . DoB Jan 2003 Harris ........... DoB Sept 2003 Linegar ....... DoB ??? 2005 Woods ........ DoB ??? 2005 Obviously, it remains to be seen whether the last few weeks has been a blossoming and fulfilment for Donoghue, or "just" a purple patch, playing well above himself. Let's face it, we'd probably all have had him behind Harris at both FB and FH back in January; but all of the above play both FH and FB. We're not going to be able to keep them all happy. Worth noting, Bailey, as first cab off that rank, is just shy of 100 appearances for Bath; whilst Harris and Donoghue now have 15 each. Also worth noting that Donoghue is Irish, and Woods is Welsh (not sure if both are dual qualified) It feels like a very good problem to have. With all due respect to Weston and Emens, I just don't think they're going to challenge the above names, especially as I'm questioning whether we can keep all of the above names.
