As far as I'm concerned anyone can make their second-choice kit whatever the hell color they feel like. England's first-choice white kit would have caused some visual troubles against Argentina's blue and white hoops, so they wore their second kit. What I'm curious to know is, on the chance that the teams' first kits clash with each other, how is it decided who changes to their second to avoid it? I remember wearing our gray kits against France in 2007, which is understandable since France were the hosts (though, the match itself was one of the ones not played in France; the other three quarterfinals were, unlucky for the hosts to not play their quarterfinal in their own country), they had every right to ask us to wear our second kit.Still have to agree with what Richie says about the color of your jersey. Also, for the record, according to Wiki, Argentina's second kit is purple, a color that as far as I know has absolutely nothing to do with Argentina.
