I read that 11% of all cars sold in March globally were full EVs, a 60% rise year on year.  And that was before petrol prices got a bit silly. The Middle East autocrats are far less prepared to let the oil flow than they have been in the past, so it's time to kick them in the nether regions. The days of pandering to dictators who inherit natural resources could simply be put to bed if politicians were of a mind.
