Can someone actually explain to me why Trump cut aid to SA, and expelled Rasool?

Is this a Musk thing, sorting a chip on his shoulder or is it the Isreal genocide case, or is it potentially a genuine reaction to the land grab and pendulum swing of the ANC and DA?

As you can imagine, I pay close attention to the comings and goings of SA and you have saffers saying they should cut off the US and turn to China. Lol.

But let's say Izvestia is a hot source, they got it bang on, and Putin is happy he didn't give up anything he wanted... then why agree to a 30 day reprieve at all? Why not tell Trump to go **** himself, and whip his top off riding a bear through the streets of Moscow?!
