Disagree on everything. Remind me what Noves has done when he was coaching the french team ?? The comparison between Ireland and France is relevant in terms of systems and shows that our club system is dysfunctional when it comes to the French team. The use of words like "burden" when it comes to the french team, this is exactly whats wrong in the french rugby. The french team should not be a "burden" for the clubs, they should embrace the national team and make everything they can to make it successful as it has a knock on (no pun intended) positive effect on clubs with more people watching rugby (TV rights) and more young french people wanting to play rugby which provides a larger reservoir of players for the clubs. If the french rugby team is not performing as it should/could, this is mainly because players do not have enough time to play in the french team together and they are not enough protected (they play too much matches in top14) (the fact that we are sending B teams in our summer tours in southern hemisphere is disgraceful and an evidence of the proeminence of the top14 over the french national team, this is 3-4 weeks where our main national team is not playing with all its players, 3-4 weeks not working on automatisms or consistency, all this in the name of our "sacred" top14 ). The comparison with the irish rugby or the NZ rugby makes this absolutely clear. The coach is important but his weight on the outcome is not comparable to a whole system wweight outcome ratio
