Makes a lot more sense than the Saints rumour, as they are in a better position to offer enough money to make it worthwhile for Tigers. I still think it could lead to problems but generally the board get a lot more right than wrong so I'll keep the faith.

Always seemed to have the body (and handling) of an enforcer but the mind of an athletic, offloading lock. I think he should stick around at La Rochelle for a couple of years as it could really be the making of him as an international.

Which given he signed Franks on a decent package is worrying.
Suppose 1 more season for him to get some game time, then he can move wouldn't be the end of the world for a 23 year old TH.

We were only linked to barrow for a short term contract after his first bust up because both evans and Beaumont were injured and Ostrikov was in the Russia squad, everyone's fit again now so there's no need.

There's Sinckler (who is also being courted by Saracens, so easy choice there)
Mulipola (who is using us to up his contract in France)
Some saffa prop (who apparently is signing for Edinburgh and is planning on qualifying for Scotland)
Some saffa lock (with the signing of Philips i can't see it)
Cipriani (can't see it, especially with Macginty y signing a 4 year contract)
Rohan (apparently Faf de Klerk told someone at a game that he's coming back to us - I think it's 50/50 us vs Gloucester, can't officially be signed until July so I'm hoping we can finish the season strongly and make us seem a more attractive prospect)
Tommy Taylor (long term signing of Webber makes it seem less likely - apparently going to take the optional extra year at wasps)

He'll compete with Jack Carty at flyhalf but is there really no Irish qualified player who could do that job? If I were Ciaran Frawley, I'd be beating down the door to move to Connacht for game time.
