2023-2024 transfers

Guess this is Declan Moore replacement?

How bad is Munsters budget you have to sign players with the same surname to save on changing names on clothes etc
Thing is its not like even for the first Wasps game we really needed Moore. He lost out to a 21 year old who then was MOTM and spent the rest of his time here playing AIL. Can't see this lad doing different. Probably a Nucifora longshot.

Leinster signing Jason Jenkins away from Munster . . . can anyone tell me why?

Probably because we want a big lock and there's not a huge amount available the year before a WC. Not super enthused by it but we'll see. Not a great sign that he's been injured all year though.

It just screams a desperate ploy to keep Welsh Rugby Teams relevant at times.... I'm not saying they aren't but when you look across the results for the last few seasons (looked back to Start 2017 season), the results aren't pretty for any team.
Tbf the guy came from South Africa and a year and a half ago, his ceiling was playing hooker for Rainey Old Boys in All Ireland league 2A, he's played a blinder

Bath announce:
Joe Maddock as attack coach

Niall Annett - HK from Worcester
Wesley White - BR from Jersey
Matt Gallagher - FB from Munster

Thought Gallagher would be off. Liked him well enough but it became clear we never needed him and he was never going to get ahead of Haley, especially with a really poorly timed injury when he was starting to make a few squads. He also has Campbell and maybe Flannery on the 15 rotation too. Hope he goes on to have a nice career, he has been unlucky.

Edit: in super minor transfer news we've signed Aaron Hehir from Shannon in a short term. We are seriously light at scrummy right now with Murray, Casey, Coughlan and Patterson bouncing around in terms of availability.

Honestly forgot all about Matt Gallagher going to Munster

Niall Annett is a good signing one of those players all clubs should have solid dependable at this level.
No nothing about Wesley White other than his dad is Jake

Maddock hell of a player always find it hard to judge coaches coming from the NZ/Japan the defence and all round style is just massively different to Northern Hemisphere rugby.
