2023-2024 transfers

Let me change it to remembered fondly. He'd have to play every game and have Leinster reach both finals to have an average of 20 games a season for us which isn't great for an NIQ! He's not going to be a Lote Tiquiri, a grade above Andrew Goodman maybe, a solid but uninspiring squad player, should sure up the Dragons a wee bit.

He was never in he same as Lote Tiquiri before or during his Leinster time; I think he probably did exactly what he was signed on to do. Good player for the Dragons.

Meant Tiquiri's time at Leinster. Again it was phrased badly, I can't get out of France soon enough, my English is getting worse and my French isn't anything to write home about!

Also I protest the Stan Wright label. Guy was a complete cult hero. Hey at least you didn't sign Brian Lima who would have been of more value to us if he was actually a chiropractor.

I wasn't disagreeing anyway, just saying I don't think your statement that he's not been exceptional is as surprising as some are saying when you look at him on paper - I say that though not as someone who's watched Leinster much over the last few years (except when we've stopped over to lay the smackdown on you in Europe :p .)

Jean Deysel has signed for us on 3month deal.
Actually looks like you're the very first person to break this story or even mention the signing on the internet. Congrats Muff. You're a more legitimate and useful rugby news source than the Irish Independent. He'll just be Kleyn cover I presume. Covers a few spots.
Good to see that Wooton has been retained. I think he'll be very useful in a few years. No surprise RO'M is staying really. O'Donoghue also staying and Griesel will be around until the end of European affairs at least as he's been put into the squad.

Griesel signed 1 year deal but it's not a regular contract.
Also should add Deysel is a natural 7 so may be auditioning too for backrow spot next year

Nic White to Exeter from Montpelier
Who'd have thunk it?

Yeah - the official confirmation is the only news there ...

Bit of a shame IMO considering Townsend and Maunder have been looking good.

Bristol Rugby bolster ranks with signings of Sione Faletau and Jack Cosgrove ahead of next season

Bristol Rugby have bolstered their front row options with the arrivals of Tongan international Sione Faletau and Edinburgh prop Jack Cosgrove ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

Tighthead prop Faletau – who has three caps for Tonga - makes the switch from Yorkshire Carnegie having previously represented Canterbury and Counties Manukau in the ITM Cup.

Former Scotland U20 prop Cosgrove has made nine appearances for Scotland U20s, including the RBS Six Nations and Junior World Championship.

Interesting sigings, need front row help and its good we've gone for a prime aged player and a younger prospect

Matawalu on his way out I guess, for all his contribution

Nic White not willing to stick around in the absence of his namesake

is blair cowen still at London irish? there would be a signing, international capped player lingering in the championship

Piers Francis --> Saints

Good signing but he isn't a first choice 10 IMO, excellent 12 though.

Saints just need a backs coach.
