[2018 Six Nations] England Squad

Could Cokanasiga play centre?
I was thinking the same thing; he grew up playing at 13 and coming through the ranks at Irish was mostly a 13. It's only really in the last couple of years that he's been deployed mostly as a winger. It'd be interesting to see what he could do there. I imagine the distribution would be pretty poor though, as well as some defensive frailties.

His go-go-gadget offloading is pretty good, so there's potential.

Anywhere you can get him running in space is ideal, although FB is pretty much out of the question, I think.
It's either wing or OC.

The idea of him at OC is tempting and definitely worth experimenting with at club level at some point but I'd have thought he'll be best deployed as a Nowell-mould winger; supplying power in the midfield when required but for the most part leaving the non-ball-carrying responsibilities to the mid-fielders.

On a kinda fun "what if" note; I wonder how he'd have done if he'd grown up at 8. If Simmonds is able to tear holes with his pace and explosiveness at 103kg, what would Cokonsiga do with that pace and nearly 2 more stone.

Bath are supposed to have first dibs; and that probably played a part in whether it was worth keeping Banahan or not. Coka would be the closest thing possible to a like-for-like replacement whilst also being a step up in potential.

As for whoever mentioned the Curries - I still see them as interchangeable; preferably in a The Prestige manner at half time. Typicallly, I just name A Curry when I want one; and it can be whichever of them is actually getting game time in the previous 6 weeks
Irish is baths feeder club ??

Tomas Francis has the worst hair at Exeter

Just waiting for the chiefs to have someone go out with the monk style haircut, it's got to happen some time. Thomas Waldrom has a sort of friar tuck look about him.

Marler is at the wrong club really, he'd blend right in down there!

Mike haley gping to mu ster with hopes of playing for ireland, no longer available for england. Wasnt in the mix but was always a gpod player in with a shout

He, rightly, dropped down the pecking order a bit but on form he's a fantastic 15.
England have shown absolutely zero interest in getting a new 15 though so I don't blame him looking elsewhere

Apparently Sam Simmons and Henry Slade are going to be in consideration to play on saturday.

Slade? Over who?

Simmonds is a blessing, But only if it means lawes is out if the backrow and Underhill is starting (Simmonds covering the entire backrow from the bench)
