Might be tight in the first half but cant see this game being too close.
Prediction Sharks 34 Kings 12. Thats if everything goes well for the kings.

Kings have announced their team. I've added it to the OP.

That's pretty much their strongest team, apart from Stefan Watermeyer a noticeable absentee.

This prop on the bench named TBC must be a youngster. Never heard of him. Is he any good?

Sharks looked sharp against the French even without Lambie. I think if anything the changing of the gaurd has done them good. The Kings' game plan will be to defend, disrupt and try and stay in the game. It might work but I wouldn't surprised if the Sharks went into round 2 with a positive 30 point margin.

Not really sure at all what to expect from the Sharks this season. The loss of Lambie is obviously huge, and the pick of Pietersen at FH is interesting to say the least. Very excited to see how the du Preez brothers go. Hoping le Roux can re find his form for both the Sharks and Boks sake. The lock situation is troubling to say the least, same goes for TH prop. Coenie is just not Super Rugby standard and offers very little around the park like he used to in the past.

The pre season games do have me feeling a little more optimistic about our chances. Backing us to put the Kings away by at least two scores.
