I have a few points I cannot understand.
First, there are 4 pools which consist of 5 teams. However, since 5 is not divisible, the play schedules are not equal for all teams. If 20 teams play World Cup finals, there should be 5 pools which consist of 4 teams. Winners of 5 pools qualify for the last 8; and the best 3 runners-up also qualify for the last 8.
The fixture is a bit strange.
10/10 Australia v. Wales Twickenham
10/10 England v. Uruguay Manchester City Stadium
This is very strange. England v. Uruguay at Manchester City Stadium while Australia v. Wales at Twickenham? Why do England not play all pool games at Twickenham? And why Wales cannot play all pool games at Millennium except England game?
And why Scotland cannot play their pool games at Murrayfield; why Ireland cannot play their pool games at Lansdowne Road?<_<
