Well this was a heck of an open game. Lots of fun to watch, but almost felt like a trial match with how flimsy defences were. A bit of a side note, but Cheetahs, no.18 Ewald van der Westhuizen has to have one of the ugliest heads in world rugby.

G'day all, go the tahs, sure hope we make the final again this year and hopefully get a ref like last year! We can't lose! We are playing good rugby atm, im glad the format is the way it is, imagine being a kiwi team, having to play other good sides twice. Lucky we get to play the force, rebels and reds twice or we might be about 8th. Keep up the good work who ever decides our format or U.S. and the brumbies would probably be screwed. Go the tahs

Haha well funnily enough Brendo the Tahs seem to manage the Kiwi sides alright. Not sure if you've noticed, but the it's the Aussie sides like the Force that seem to cause us more trouble than teams like the Saders and Canes for some reason. Must be the influence of that Daryl Gibson ;-).

Yes true, I think he will has the measure pretty well. Glad the regular season is almost over those crusaders are just starting to find some good form. Will be a good game them v brumbies. The win against the cheetahs was good but I worry a bit that 2 easy games at the end of season could be harmful to our prospects. And with a weeks rest to come I would imagine. Makes things interesting

Actually I just thought, 2 of our losses this year were to the force I think. Stormers and highlanders and lions. But we did beat the under strength canes. Weird how we play the force 3 times.

lol no need to keep up the facade Brendo - which Kiwi team do you actually support?

Canes weren't exactly that under strength - not as bad as the 'Tahs last week against the Lions in any case. As for the 'Saders, you can hardly complain about their roster for that match.

In any case, last year we had the best defence and attacking stats and the Aussie conference over all was stronger than it was this year, so it's really a case of swings and round abouts in terms of benefitting from the conference (and even then you have weird bogey teams like the Force that somehow manage to upset seemingly better teams in each conference).

But if you think it's bad now, I bet you're super pumped for the clusterf#ck system of trans-oceanic conferences and PhD level math requiring for and against match-ups equations.

Seriously, if only the NZRU were willing to join forces with the ARU to block that thing...
