    England 6 Nation squad 2024

THP is a potential problem in my opinion. Dan Cole is playing brilliantly, but he's be the oldest RWC player ever if he's still going in 2027. Sinckler is off to France for a few years I hear. I don't think anyone is shifting Stuart any time soon, but who comes after that? I guess it's Heyes...

[2024 Six Nations] England vs Ireland - 09/03/24

I think I'd rather have Steward over Furbank. Being an attacking fullback is what Furbank is meant to be good at, and so far he's not. Furbank certainly seems to be generating more attacking opportunities than Steward used to, but he's also messing up a lot more.

[2024 Six Nations] Italy vs England - 03/02/24

Not sure on Lawrence. The Bath statement said they were aiming for him to be back for some of the 6N but didn't give a firm date

    England World Cup Squad

I was always impressed by his commitment to improving things he was already good at, as well. I remember reading that he paid his own way into some elite sprint schools, and would spend longer than anyone else stretching and warming up. Great dedication to the game.

I was complaining that with Faz inked in at 10 and England's general game plan we might as well pick backs based on defensive ability since they'll rarely be called on to attack ball in hand. I meant it tongue-in-cheek but I've actually come around to the idea, at least for the centres. I came...

[RWC2023 Bronze Final] Argentina vs England (27/10/2023)

I'm not sure I've ever been as dissatisfied with a win

[RWC2023 Bronze Final] Argentina vs England (27/10/2023)

Even the commentators saying that Arundell shouldn't be expecting the ball!?

[RWC2023 Bronze Final] Argentina vs England (27/10/2023)

If he could manage both that would be pretty great

[RWC2023 Bronze Final] Argentina vs England (27/10/2023)

Has Arundell actually touched the ball apart from one kick to him?

[RWC2023 Bronze Final] Argentina vs England (27/10/2023)

Arundell to score 4 tries and break the WC scoring record in two games, then never get seen again because he hurt Faz's feelings.

I really hope it wasn't that, given that Billy was picked and he happily admits that he's lazy... But it does actually ring a bell. Seems very much at odds with how he plays though

Feels harsh but I'd probably be dropping Watson too. I've always been happy to see his name on the team sheet but he'll be 33 at the next WC and as BPM points out we're not lacking young talent on the wing. Or at fullback either if Arundell comes good. George Ford feels like a bit of a...

    England World Cup Squad

Proud of the fight and intensity England put forward in the last game. I was expecting us to lose by 14+. Particular note for Marler, Cole, and especially Lawes. If this is their last tournament in an England shirt then they can go out with their heads held high. It feels unfair to single...

    [RWC2023 SF2] England vs South Africa (21/10/2023)

He played 10 mins earlier, he's probably gassed

Anyone noticed how anyone but Farrell is talking to the ref now?

England definitely making a lot of errors now...
